[ Sean matsuda had always looked toward ken masters as a mentor and eventual teacher. ken on the other hand had no intentions to be a teacher and instead sent sean off on a fool’s errand. ken told sean he would consider teaching him if he could beat ryu in a fight.

[ Sean matsuda had always looked toward ken masters as a mentor and eventual teacher. ken on the other hand had no intentions to be a teacher and instead sent sean off on a fool’s errand. ken told sean he would consider teaching him if he could beat ryu in a fight.
sean tried for years acquiring several sometimes severe injuries. the sting of the combined defeat and rejection filled sean with anger and bitterness. for his final battle with ryu, sean tried to instigate the fight by stealing ryu’s headband given to him by ken masters. this might have only been a minor annoyance to ryu but little did sean know ryu was in the middle of another bout with the dark hadou.
ryu not being himself at the time, hit sean with the Shinku Hadoken which sean attempted to block at close range scarring his arm. fearing the end sean started to flee and was hit with a dark Metsu Shoryuken destroying sean's gi and leaving a huge scar across his body and face. just before ryu could give the final blow Akuma appeared grabbed sean and vanished.
many years had passed and no one had heard from sean until he out of no where shows up to fill in for a fighter in this years World warrior tournament. now run by ken masters himself, and his first opponent... Ken’s son Mel masters. now dawning glowing red eyes his hardened scars and ryu’s headband as a belt. sean is ready to punish ken and show him his uncovered potential. ]
